Sharrarne Morton
President
& First Founder

Sharrarne Morton is the Founder and President of Black Door Society, a collection of high-profile black women committed to creating high net-worth opportunities, wealth, and legacy for other black women. She is also an executive producer and on-air personality with SiriusXM Radio Channel 141/HUR Voices. 

For many years, Sharrarne was a regular guest commentator on an ABC news affiliate show in Washington, D.C. where she offered her views on local, national, and international news. 

As a businesswoman, Sharrarne is the CEO of Morton Media, a media training and public relations firm that helps businesses build their brand by placing them on TV and radio. Morton Media produces content for SiriusXM radio.

Sharrarne is the mother of two adult daughters and a 31-year member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

Dr. Roselyn Aker-Black, Psy.D
Vice President

Dr. Roselyn Aker- Black, Psy.D (affectionately known as Dr. Roz) is a native of Rome, Georgia and resides in the Washington, DC metro area with her husband. Dr. Roz received a B.A. in psychology from Fisk University and her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the American Schools of Professional Psychology at Argosy University in Washington, DC.

Dr. Roz is an award-winning psychologist providing psychological services to children, families, and couples. She is the Chief Operating Officer for the Goal Grinders Foundation, a nonprofit organization that provides Leadership and Entrepreneurial training for at-risk girls. She also serves as a psychology professor. 

 Dr. Roz’s media experience includes psychological consults with the Anderson Cooper Talk Show, OWN’s Network docuseries Unfaithful, Huffington Post, Fox5DC, NBC4, and Howard University radio. Dr. Roz is the Series Psychologist on TV One’s limited series, “For My Woman” and is a TEDx speaker.

Nicolette is currently pursuing her PhD in Business Administration. In addition to her professional accomplishments, she has earned the designation of Distinguished Toastmaster in Toastmasters International becoming one of the 1% globally to ever obtain this level and has sat on many educational and organizational boards.

Dr. Andrea J. Boudreaux

Dr. Andrea J. Boudreaux is board Certified in Healthcare Management and an accomplished health equity leader committed to improving access to marginalized and historically underserved communities.

She is a tenured healthcare executive and medical psychologist with nearly two decades of progressive leadership in healthcare strategy.

A native of Houston and graduate of Howard University, Dr. Boudreaux is the Managing Partner and Global Head of Health Equity of JCG Consulting Group and the Chair of Healthcare Strategy with the March of Dimes/CDC Collaboration, Mom and Baby Action Network.

Sharron Rose is Deputy Finance Director for the Juvenile and Youth Services Department of Wayne County. She oversees the department’s $245 million budget. She is also an accomplished, results-driven financial executive with nonprofit financial leadership experience having been the Chief Financial Officer for The Wright Museum of African American History where she led all financial operations. She was also Vice-President of Finance and Administration at Eastern Market Corporation and Director of Finance at Vanguard Community Development Corporation.

Ms. Rose’s company, SRose CFO Group, LLC, provides local nonprofit organizations assistance in establishing financial controls, budgeting and forecasting.

Jackson

Andrea Jackson is a long time resident of Maryland, a graduate of Morgan State University, and proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.

Andrea is a former financial manager and is currently Owner and CEO of I Confect, LLC where she cooks and bakes delicious southern fare and pastries.

Gwendolyn Townsend has over 32 years of experience with the federal government as a highly skilled Program Analyst with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). As a Contracting Officer Representative, she manages 21 major contracts.
