Black Door Society is an invitation-only professional membership organization for high-profile women of color.

 Our membership is limited to women who are invited to apply. Through recommendations, application, and interviews, the final selection is made. 

For your consideration...

• Membership or “Open Door" season is once per year;

• Many of our potential candidates have been recommended by at least one BDS member;

• Through our vetting process, candidates are invited to apply for membership;

• Each candidate must sign a Non-Disclosure agreement;

• Candidates invited for membership must be able to attend, in-person, the Induction Ceremony at an undisclosed location in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
